A quick server-side worthy mention.
The Kiwi instance running on kiwiirc.com has had a custom identd server running for a while now, helping some networks such as Efnet identify users. This has now been integrated with the kiwiirc code base so others can make use of it, too.
Disabled by default, this can now be enabled via the conf.identd config block.
